Naked,Chanel,Benefit

Hello lovely ladies! I am super excited to share with you guys my first beauty post! I have finally gotten around to beauty blogging (with this busy school schedule I’ve currently encountered, I found it nearly impossible but better late than never) and I will be sharing my experience and positive reviews on these Holy Grail products of mine.

1)NAKED 2 -I’m so surprised I have found an eyeshadow palette that I absolutely love since I find it hard to wear the perfect shade of neutral colours. A definite HG product of mine with 12 pigment-rich,taupe and greyish neutral eyeshadows that’s great for cool skin tones.  Just feast your eyes on these ranging shades from pale to deep and matte to sparkly. This naked palate lets you achieve lots of neutral looks, smoky dramatic eyes, and everything in between.  Let's just say there's a whole new way to get Naked! (Who knows I might be featuring this baby for one of my giveaways).

2)NAKED SKIN Liquid foundation – It wasn’t an easy journey finding the perfect foundation and I’ve had my share of splurging on lots of different kinds, my first being from MAC which I found to be too heavy. Switching to DIOR, it was light but did not help or conceal my oily skin one bit. So I changed to LAURA MERCIER, which was a good experience but in the end it did not suffice until I found NAKED SKIN by Urban Decay in the shade 5.0. Bingo! I have found my love! It feels like I’m wearing nothing at all, yet it transforms my complexion. I have oily skin (especially during the warmer days) and the occasional blemish and dry patches in the winter and this foundation works well under any circumstance my skin is in. It doesn't make my skin oilier and doesn't highlight my dry patches. It stays on all day and lasts well into the night if I use a good primer. It's a medium coverage but definitely buildable so your skin looks naturally illuminated and bright. Naked uses light-diffusing spheres to blur imperfections for a luminous matte finish that feels invisible but looks professionally retouched. All I’m saying is whoever said 'you can't have the best of both worlds' never tried Naked Skin!

3)NAKED SKIN Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder – Since I’ve had such great experiences with the NAKED collection, I figured third times a charm and I’m happy to say that it is! And being the next evolution in NAKED Skin, this oil-free powder is virtually invisible on skin and has a silky texture that feels amazing. Unlike powders that leave your skin looking chalky or cakey, this powder imparts a radiant complexion and provides my skin with natural-looking coverage, especially on oilier skin types. Not to mention, this oil free powder works beautifully with the NAKED skin liquid foundation.

4)CHANEL Powder Blush – I’m a sucker for the packaging of Chanel products! It also doesn’t hurt that their blush quality is beyond amazing. The shade is in Joues Contraste Rose Initiale, a harmony of a really pretty pink and peach. It strikes a nice balance between the two colours, a bit of a punch colour really. I also love the amount of pigmentation and like many of the Chanel blushes it has just the right amount of colour, not too little, not too much. It’s a silky texture that has buildable coverage from natural to dramatic and gives off a light dewy sheen to your cheeks. It’s the kind of blush that will suit anyone.

5)BENEFITS BADgal Lash Mascara - People rave about this product so much, naturally, I just had to try it. It really gives your lashes the amazing length, curl and volume. Almost making it look as if you’re wearing falsies. I have been using it for the last 4 months and I have to admit I’m in love! The applicator picks up just enough product to coat your lashes perfectly and the thick wand really plumps and grasps your every lash giving you a flawless application. I would definitely recommend.
